It’s no surprise that TNBL is growing in popularity when customers can order as much as they want, pay nothing upfront, test everything out, and just pay for what they want to keep.

Advertisements and on-site messages that allow customers to test before buying are particularly appealing. It boosts click-through and conversion rates, broadens your brand’s reach, and optimizes your marketing spend. Furthermore, when customers order more, they buy more, resulting in higher gross profit, brand loyalty, and conversion LTV. 

Because the ability to try at home is an incentive in and of itself, TryNow helps you lower your discount rates. In terms of increasing AOV, even after returns are considered, a TryNow study found that the tool can help you raise AOV by nearly 25%-60%.

TryNow doesn’t come with any fixed annual contacts. Instead, they simply take a percentage of the transactions placed through their services.

TryNow Review: Who Is It For?

While in-house TNBL was previously only available to firms like Stitch Fix, Warby Parker, or Amazon Prime Wardrobe, TryNow now gives numerous DTC brands on Shopify access to a TNBL solution right out of the box.

TryNow currently only works with Shopify Plus-powered online stores. From small and medium businesses to entrepreneurs and retail brands, TryNow is a viable solution for any Shopify store-owner looking to increase conversion rates by encouraging customers to try more, buy more, and pay only for what they like.

TryNow Review: 3 Things I Love About TryNow

There’s a lot to love about TryNow. But if we narrow it down to the three things I loved most about them, it would be the following:

  • Native Checkout Experience: Setting up TryNow for your store is a piece of cake! With the platform being fully compatible with existing returns management software, OMS, and ERP, merchants don’t need to adjust to the systems they already have in place. So once you deploy TryNow, the tool seamlessly blends in with your website. 
  • CTAs and Pop-ups: CTAs should be easy to locate, strategically placed, informative, and specific—all while not interfering with the rest of your shop page. With TryNow, you get a single high-conversion call to action button that dynamically adjusts to fit the shopper’s purchasing option. Additionally, TryNow presents brief program details with a pop-up for more info next to the $0 pricing button. So shoppers’ questions are answered before they have to ask.
  • Merchant Controls: Configurability is one of TryNow’s many advantages. Merchants can alter trial and return flow settings, monitor orders, and adjust program analytics. Store owners can customize the TryNow sales and shopping experience on their website by tweaking parameters such as– trial length, exclusions, minimums, deposit requirements, pricing, refunds, etc.

Despite all that I love about TryNow, I still wished it offered a few other features. There’s no free trial or freemium version available, so you can’t avail TryNow services without some payment. 

Secondly, unlike its competitors, TryNow doesn’t integrate with platforms beyond Shopify. The shortcoming is only magnified by the fact that BlackCart, another major try-now-pay-later service provider, integrates with Shopify, Magneto, and WooCommerce as well.

Final Verdict 

While the rising popularity of Try Now Buy Later systems is undeniable, on the merchant’s side, providing that experience for buyers is a challenge without the right software.
