Sleeknote Review: The Best-in-Class Popup Software for E-Commerce Marketing

I hate popups. But I love it when websites have used it right. When they help you grow rather than devaluing the website experience. It’s a pattern disruption but obviously, you need to make it amusing.

The most important to use in the right way  – is personalization and timing. And Sleeknote, does it right.

If you’re reading this, you’re probably trying to decide if Sleeknote would be a good fit for your business. But with so many similar email capturing and popup building tools in the market, it can be difficult to find just the perfect fit. 

 I’ve had my fair share of experiences with these tools as a Head of Growth in the Shopify ecosystem. As a growth marketer working with e-commerce clients, I have personally tried and tested Sleeknote and similar software, so you don’t have to!

Priding itself on creating non-invasive pop-ups, Sleeknote offers more features than most of its competitors. Thanks to its user-friendly editor and a huge collection of pre-designed templates, it also helps free up time for other marketing or sales activities you may have planned.

While the premium software’s high-value pricing differentiates it from the competition, you get the benefit of unlimited campaigns and domains.

Onboarding is also assisted by a team of conversion professionals, who even create a one-of-a-kind pop-up to match your store’s theme. All of the subscription plans feature a dedicated success manager so that you can get help with Sleeknote at any time.

Last but not least, Sleeknote allows for custom integration, allowing you to use it with any other software. It also has native integration with Magento, Mailchimp, Salesforce, Shopify, Wix, and other platforms.

  • Sleeknote offers no free plans and limits the free trial period to 7 days only.
  • The subscription plans start with a minimum of $49 per month and get increasingly expensive as your sessions increase.
  • The learning curve can be quite steep. So users need some time to get used to the software before utilizing its full potential.

Sleeknote offers five subscription plans based on the number of visitors and page views: 

  • The Lite plan starts from $62/month, which comes down to $49/month with an annual subscription. This plan supports up to 25,000 visitors per month. 
  • The Basic plan starts from $74 per month, or $59/month if billed annually, and supports 50,000 visitors per month.
  • The Plus plan starts at $143 per month or $114/month with an annual subscription. It supports up to 125,000 visitors per month and comes with three custom-made campaigns.
  • The Pro plan starts from $282 per month, or $225/month billed annually. This package offers support for up to 300,000 visitors per month.
  • The Premium package starts from $462 per month, which is $369/month billed annually. This plan supports up to 500,000 visitors per month. 

The best thing about Sleeknote is that all of the packages let you use their full features, except the advanced goal tracking feature being excluded from the Lite package. The packages vary according to the number of visitors and pageviews per month. So the decision only comes down to the size of your business.

 

Best For

Though any online business can use it, Sleeknote primarily targets medium to large enterprises, e-commerce businesses, and SaaS companies. If the premium pricing is not an issue, I’d recommend Sleeknote to companies with a high volume of visitors and who prefer to work with a professional success manager. It’s also ideal for people who run many businesses.

Final Thoughts

There you have it – a solid, comprehensive Sleeknote review. Sleeknote and its rivals Poptin and Privy all have closely comparable features on paper, but each has its unique advantage.

While Sleeknote is for major businesses with substantial traffic, the premium pricing may not suit beginners and smaller stores. Privy may be the best option for the cheapest solution, but for more features and customization, you can give Poptin a try.
